History
Mission Statement
We are a team of like minded individuals whom have a passion, a passion to not only host the largest RC Truck gathering in the UK, but to grow the hobby, introduce new people and to enthuse the younger generations to get involved, and best of all for everyone to enjoy themselves.
We are committed to continue to grow where possible, and ensure that people attending get the best experience. BIGGER, better, more detailed, and pushing the boundaries of possibility is what we strive to achieve, and we do this for you, the attendee as this is what brings us joy.
About us
The journey began back in 2017, with a small team and an opportunity. With a coming together of minds and a tight timeline ‘The Gathering’ was born and the first date scheduled. Success followed and the growth began from there... Gatherings have since been held in 2017 & 2018 at Woodgreen Animal Shelter - Godmanchester, 2019 at Lady Eastwood Building - Newark Showground, 2021 & 2022 at The George Stephenson Building - Newark Showground. Unfortunately the 2020 event was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
There have been many challenges and bumps in the road that have needed to be overcome, and much commitment has been required by The Team (past members and present) to ensure we bring the best to the weekend that we possibly can. With many months of planning, meetings, calls and travel. But, we get there every time, and the comments and feedback are amazing, which only drives us harder.
